A Worthy Cause
The Missing Sock Tour initiative is composed of a group of Community Organizers and Advocates to help combat homelessness. The mission of the Missing Sock Tour is to collect the gently used or new socks, gloves, hats, and scarves of individuals and provide them with a new home for those in need. If you have a sock with a missing match, we'll find its solemate! Amongst those that experience homelessness, an item as simple as a sock, holds much value.
Great Event!
To kick off our tour, we will be visiting locations in the Washington DC, Baltimore, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut areas, as well as shelters in these states, where homelessness is the most prevalent, to provide these resources to them with our volunteer outreach team.
